Cookie Policy

Effective Date: August 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how CricLens (criclens.co.in) uses cookies and local storage technology to enhance your browsing experience.

1. What Are Cookies and Local Storage?

Cookies and browser local storage are small text files or key-value data stores saved on your device when you visit websites. They help remember your preferences, waitlist session state, and campaign source parameters.

2. Cookies and Storage We Use

• Essential Storage: Used to store your waitlist pass confirmation state locally (`#CRIC-XXXX`) so your pass stays visible when you return to the page.
• Performance & Campaign Tracking (UTM): Temporary session storage to record advertising campaign metrics (e.g., `utm_source=instagram_ad`) to optimize our performance marketing channels.

3. Managing Cookie Preferences

You can clear or block cookies at any time through your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). Please note that clearing local storage may reset your locally saved waitlist pass view.
